2020 Global Risk Report

Jan 31, 2020

In January, the Global Risks Report is published by the World Economic Forum, and it reviews a growing range of collective challenges.

It presents the major risks the world will be facing in the next twelve months. Many of these we can relate to immediately in Australia given recent severe weather events around the country.

The overall results are based on the latest Global Risks Perception Survey, in which over 1,400 decision-makers from around the globe assess the current risks we all face.

The gravest threat includes extreme weather events and the impact of climate-action failure. The report shows us why we need to plan well these days and be aware of difficult times that could arise so easily.
